Amanda Cross

Amanda Cross was the pen name of American author and professor Carolyn Gold Heilbrun, born on January 13, 1926. She is best known for her mystery novels featuring feminist themes, particularly the "Kate Fansler" series, which explored women's roles in society and academia.
