Evan Tanner was an American mixed martial artist and former UFC Middleweight Champion, born on March 11, 1971. Known for his toughness and resilience in the octagon, he gained notable recognition for his fighting style and went on to compete in various promotions throughout his career. Tanner unfortunately passed away on September 5, 2008, while on a solo camping trip in the California desert.
