Gordie Howe was a Canadian professional ice hockey player, widely regarded as one of the greatest hockey players of all time. Born on March 31, 1928, in Floral, Saskatchewan, he spent the majority of his 26-season NHL career with the Detroit Red Wings, where he became known for his exceptional scoring ability and physical play.
