Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life. — Wayne Dyer
Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life.

Insight: Most of us grew up hearing that passion doesn't pay the bills, that you pick a practical job first and find fulfillment later, maybe in hobbies or retirement. But there's something worth reconsidering in the idea that doing what you love actually creates abundance—not just emotionally, but practically. When you're genuinely interested in something, you naturally work harder, notice details others miss, and stick with it through the rough patches. You don't need constant motivation because the work itself pulls you forward. That's when people tend to get good at things, and getting good at things tends to open doors and opportunities. The non-obvious part is that this doesn't necessarily mean quitting your job tomorrow to pursue some grand passion. It might mean noticing what you actually enjoy within your current work, or what small thing you could do more of that uses your real interests. It could mean taking your existing skills and attention seriously enough to get better at them. Abundance doesn't always arrive as a windfall—sometimes it comes quietly through the compounding effect of doing something consistently because you genuinely want to understand it better. The trap is waiting for permission or perfect certainty. Most people don't stumble into love of their work; they build it, one choice at a time, by showing up for what matters to them.
