All the money in the world doesn't mean a thing if you don't have time to enjoy it. — Oprah Winfrey
All the money in the world doesn't mean a thing if you don't have time to enjoy it.

Insight: It's easy to get caught in the trap of trading hours for dollars, convincing ourselves that the sacrifice is temporary. But temporary has a way of becoming permanent. We plan to enjoy life later, after the promotion or the paid-off mortgage, yet the habit of rushing never really turns off. You end up sitting on a comfortable couch too exhausted to appreciate the comfort, treating your own life like a layover between work shifts. The real cost isn't just missed vacations; it's the inability to be where your feet are. Even when you do stop, your mind is often still clocking in, scanning for the next problem to solve. True wealth isn't just having the freedom to buy experiences, it's having the mental space to actually feel them. If you can't slow down enough to taste your coffee without checking your phone, the account balance doesn't matter.
