The soul always knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind

Insight: There's something we all recognize in this: that nagging sense that we already know what we need to do, but we keep talking ourselves out of it. Maybe it's about leaving a situation that drains us, or reconnecting with someone we've drifted from, or simply resting instead of pushing harder. We know, deep down. But then our minds kick in with reasons, doubts, and what-ifs that drown out that quieter knowing. The tricky part is that our minds aren't wrong to be cautious—they're trying to protect us. But protection and healing aren't always the same thing. A mind stuck in worry loops can convince us that staying small is safer, that the familiar pain is better than the unknown, that we don't deserve what we actually need. It becomes like static on a radio, so loud we can't hear the signal underneath. This isn't about emptying your mind or becoming spiritual. It's about noticing when you're overthinking something you've already decided about. It's recognizing the difference between genuine wisdom and anxiety dressed up as practicality. That moment when you stop explaining why you can't and actually listen to what you want—that's where the real work begins.
