Harun Yahya, born Adnan Oktar in 1956 in Ankara, Turkey, is a Turkish writer and Islamic creationist known for his advocacy of creationism and opposition to the theory of evolution. Yahya is also recognized for his controversial legal troubles and has been involved in various social and political movements in Turkey.
