Noel Gallagher is an English musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as the lead guitarist and main songwriter for the rock band Oasis, which he formed with his brother Liam Gallagher in 1991. He was instrumental in the Britpop movement of the 1990s, penning numerous hits such as "Wonderwall" and "Champagne Supernova." After Oasis disbanded in 2009, Gallagher pursued a successful solo career with his band Noel Gallagher's High-Flying Birds.
